Perfect For The Breezy

I was on my way home In the rain, in the snow Stopped by a ringing payphone 'Cause I just wanted to know What kind of trouble you could walk into On a dead end night if you wanted to No sooner had I put the receiver down Than there were three tall shadows looking me up and down I was in the cafe bar of a five star hotel Didn't have to walk too far and I like the drinks they sell Doesn't matter if you are a guest or not So far all of my requests have been met This could go on forever Or there could be a surprise Just around the corner I was on a cross-town train Looking out the window Looking at the sign that read, "You'll go as far as we go" Then I was kicked awake by a passer-by Looked up at him and the two on either side One said, "Well, hasn't it been a while" And I said, "Can we do this some other time?"
